TABLE OF CONTENTS

Creating Your Speed Screen Displays

1. Navigate to your /ADMIN > Speed Screens > Channels

2. Click the Blue + button to create your first channel

3. In the Channel Settings tab, give your new channel a name & Save!

    - EXAMPLE:  Scoreboard, Next Racers, Schedule, Menu Board #1, Lobby Adverts

4. Now, click on the Slide Lineups tab.

     - By default, it will be selected to the 'No Races Running' tab. This means that if there are no races running on a 'scoreboard' speed screen, then it will display the slides selected as if it were a commercial between races. If there is no scoreboard setup on this display then these slides will always be on display with no interruption!

5. Click on the big Blue + button on the right to add a new slide!

   - You have a handful of options to select from, so keep in mind what you want to display on this particular TV/Monitor. Since I am creating a Lobby TV, I want to make sure it has all of the information my customers my want to watch while waiting for their next activity. This can include a schedule, or advertisements for upcoming events or specials (Image).

6. Select the slide type you'd like to add first! and click 'add slide'

    - Fir this example I am going to add in my schedule slide first. This will allow me to select which venue schedule (Track) I want to show to the customer & how long I want this slide to stay on the display before it moves onto the next slide (duration). By default this is set to 15 second, so adjust the time as needed in seconds format. If you don't want a plain black background, you may also upload a background now. Just make sure it is not too busy of a pattern so it does not obstruct the verbiage the screen will display.

7. Once you are done editing the setting on this slide, make sure to click the Save Lineups button!

8. Now, continue to add in additional slides the same way, and edit the settings for each as needed.

   - I am going to add in a few image slides for our Holiday Specials, Events, & Hours!

// For our racing facilities, you will want to create specific Channels dedicated to your scoreboards. We offer 2 scoreboard styles; A simple 'BIG" style for those on the track, and a fancier, animated version for those on the sidelines (Classic).

When a race begins, we usually want the scoreboard to take precedence over the other "no races running' slides. To do this, you will want to click on the 'During Race' tab, then click on the big blue + button on the right. You will notice that the scoreboard is selected by default, so go ahead and click 'add slide'.

Now that the scoreboard slide is added to the channel, you can make quite a few edits, including the themes mentioned previously!

// The most popular settings to adjust are

Themes: Classic (bystanders) vs  Big (Kart Drivers)

Racers per page:  For those that can fit a large amount of karts on track at once, but don't want to squish all the names on one screen. You can set how many racers to show per page before moving to the next set of names. for example, you can fit 20 karts on the track, but only want to show 10 names per page. the scoreboard will show the first 10 racers, then shuffle to the next page, and pack again.

Second per page: based on the above setting! how long to display the second/third list of racers before showing the next group.

"Next Racer" Tab Enabled: Applies to the Classic theme only! If enabled, the "Next Racer" tab is shown on the right of the scoreboard.

Top Times Enabled: Applies to the Classic theme only. If enabled, the "Top Times" section is shown at the bottom of the scoreboard.

Channel Preview

Once you have created all of your Channels, you can watch a preview of each one simply by clicking the Blue arrow button next to the name of the channel. It will open in a new tab and you can watch the whole presentation from start to finish. This way you can make sure it is perfect before you set it up for public viewing!

Special Condition Slides

Let's say you only want a specific slide to show on specific days and/or times of the day. You can set Conditions for these perimeters on the slide itself.

While viewing the channel in the /admin, click once on the slide you want to edit, simply click on the Conditions tab, and select your perimeters!

Don't forget to Save when you are done!

Scoreboard Language Translations

Would you like to edit the translations from English to your location's languages?

From the /Admin > Speed Screens > Translations

Select the language you'd like to add, and type over the English version of the verbiage.

The first section is for all of the speed screens warning/announcements.

The second section is just for the Scoreboard!

- You will notice there are translations for both the BIG and CLASSIC Scoreboard themes.

- If you need assistance with this, or do not see the option you are looking to translate, please contact support!
