Resova - Integrating Square payments

Integrate and accept online card payments with Square. To get started, you will need to find your Square API information to enter into your Resova account.

Finding your Square API credentials

If you already have an account with Square, log into your developer account. Create a new app to get your new API information. You will need the following API information to continue:

• Sandbox Application ID (optional to test payments)
• Sandbox Access Token (optional to test payments)
• Application ID (required)
• Personal Access Token (required)

Note: Please ensure that you toggle both Sandbox and Production API keys in your Square developer account in the bottom right-hand corner. Incorrect API keys in the wrong fields in your Resova account may result in payments not being processed.

Adding API details and activating Square, in Resova

To add your API and activate Square, select "Settings" and then "General Settings" from the main navigation. Click "Payment Gateways" in the settings menu on the left.

Click "Square" and enter all API credentials into the required field. When all API information has been entered, hit the "Activate" button.

To activate and deactivate Square, click the "Status" button in the top right-hand corner. Change the status to "Activate Payment Gateway" or "Deactivate Payment Gateway".

To activate test mode for Square, click the "Status" button in the top right-hand corner. Change the status to "Activate Test Mode".
