How to Run a Race Event
OVERVIEW
Schedule your event directly on the venue from the NEW Event button in the center menu, or via the Event Calendar!
You can manually add racers to the queue now, or you can have them register at the kiosk and choose the event name you’ve given your event so when they finish their registration they will be put directly into the event queue instead of the regular queue.
Click the Manage button to manage your event. From here you can see the current rounds that are going to be created and some of their details. Make sure the event has everything setup correctly here and change anything now if you want to as you will not be able to once you click the Create Heats button. (Such as the Win by, Grid line up, etc.)
Once you are certain all of the properties are correct, and you have everyone that’s going to race in the Event Queue, THEN you can click the Create Heats button in the top left of the window. This will create the correct number of heats based on the number of people currently in your event queue.
It will automatically populate the first round of your event with the racers in the queue. You will notice there is now a (1) next to all racers names to indicate they are in ONE race. This number will increase as the event proceeds.
Now you can go to the Race Control module, assign kart numbers and start the race as usual.
Once you have run ALL of the R1 or Round 1 races, you can click on the colored bar of the event on the Venue and click the Manage button to manage the event, OR Double click the Colored bar.
Click the Proceed to Round 2 button. You will see a prompt asking you, "Are you sure you want to proceed to the next round?" Click YES...
This will look at the settings you’ve set for the event; how the racers finished, how you want gridding to work, etc. and populate the Round 2 races with the racers that raced in Round 1.
// If you have added people to the event AFTER you clicked the create heats button this will not work properly as there are now more racers in the queue than the system is prepared for. You can manually add these people back into the heats if you would like them to still race at this point.
Once the racers are populated into round 2, you can head to Race Control and assign karts and start the heats as before. Keep doing this process until you have completed all the heats, in all the rounds.
// NOTE If any of the Rounds contain multiple heats, you will need to run all heats within that round before you proceed to the next round! EXAMPLE
R1 - Practice

R2 - Qualifier
R2 - Qualifier
