How To Create Products

This section will walk you through each product type, and what it is used for!

Regular Item 

 

// Each of our product types are based on the Regular Item setup, along with one or two extra fields!

  • Regular items are used for products such as Merchandise, pre-packaged Drinks/snacks, and Events/catering

 

 

 

Credit Item 

 

// This product type is used to assign credits to your customer's account to get into an activity. Please setup your Credit Types first!

  • Credits are used to get your customers into their scheduled Heat/Activity.
  • You set how many Credits will be required to get into each activity(heat), and then sell the customer the correlating Credit Item.
  • So, if a race costs 1 Race Credit to get into, then you will sell the customer a Credit item with 1 Race Credit set on it. 
    • Trampoline Example: If you want to build your sessions in 15 minute increments, you could set each 30 minute slot to 'cost' 1 Jump credit. Then, if you sell them in 1 hour, 1.5 hour, 2 hour increments you would set each product to give to 1 Jump credit per 30 minutes.
      • 1 hour = 2 Jump Credits
      • 1.5 hour = 3 Jump Credits
      • 2 Hour = 4 Jump Credits

 

  • OPTIONAL: You can now set credits to EXPIRE after a specific amount of days if gone unused. 
    • Make sure to check the box to force them to expire
    • Then enter the number of days the Credit is good for.
      • At the end of the night, the credit will expire, so they are not limited to an exact time stamp.
  • OPTIONAL: Loyalty Points - Set how many points the customer will earn when purchasing this Credit Item, and how many LP they need on their account to redeem the same product!

 

 

Food Item

 

// For those facilities that have small cafes on-site that would include topping customizations on their food. (IE: Cheeseburger with lettuce, onion, tomato)

  • Before creating your food items, you will need to add in all of the available toppings for your menu in the Sub Items section of Advance Settings.
  • NOTE:  These are toppings that are included in the price! 
  • From your list of topping check the boxes of the topping that are applicable to that Food item.
  • When you add a Food item to a check, it will prompt you to select all of the toppings the customer would like, or you can leave a note for the cook.

 

 

 

Reservation Items

 

// Just like a Credit Item, this is used for Online Booking. Instead of the credits being assigned directly to the customer's account, the reservation item will hold the credits to get into the activity on the check.

  • The Reservation points should always match what the Credit items/heats require.

 

 

 

Membership Item

 

This product will be used to assign a membership (or License) to each customer's account.

  • Before creating your membership item, you need to set the expiration date (if applicable) in the Membership Type Management under Advanced Settings
  • Membership Type: Once you've created the expiration, you will the appropriate option from the drop down. This will link to the customers account and let you know when they need to renew.
  • OPTIONAL: Assign Credits & Loyalty Points!

 

 

Gift Card Item

 

This product will sell and load a gift card at the same time! 

 

 

Intercard Game Card Item

 

If your facility uses the Intercard system, you will create this product to sell and reload the card balance.

 

Embed Game Card Items

 

If your facility uses the Embed system, we will import your Embed items into the Club Speed system for you, so no need to manually create products here!
