How to Create an Activity

Once created, activities will be selectable in the venue calendar in SP_Intake. Please note that all activities should exclude racing. If you would like to modify racing information, then click the Races tab in SP_Admin.

 

// Make sure you have your Credit & Activity types created first, if you plan to use this function. If you don't plan to use the credit system, just create a generic Credit Type & Activity type labelled 'Activity'. 



Add New Activity

 

 

  1. Login to SP_Admin and click on the Activities tab.
  2. Click the Activities link 
  3. Select the venue you wish to create this activity on.
  4. Click the New Activity button. This should add a new activity called “New Activity Type”
  5. Click the edit button and give it a name and fill out all the fields
  6. Click the save button

 

 

Activity Field Descriptions:

 

Field

Description

Activity Type No.

This is an internal identifier.

Track

Describe which track to show on venue calendar.

Guests Per Activity

The number of guests per activity.

Cadets Per Activity

The number of child guests per activity.

Event Only

Ignore for now.

Cost

The number of credits that the activity costs.

Credit Type

The type of credit that will be used to access this activity.

Member Only

Ignore for now.

Activity Type Name

The name of the activity.

Enabled

Should activity show on the venue calendar?

Duration

The duration of the activity.

Allow online reservation

Allow this activity to be purchased online.

Activity Type

The activity type.

Auto Start

Should the activity automatically start when it is placed on the venue calendar.

 

Delete Existing Activity

  1. Login to SP_Admin and click on the Activities tab
  2. Click the Activities page
  3. Click the delete button on the activity that you wish to delete
