How to Apply a Discount to a Single Item

// In the Point of Sale. add an item to the check (that has a discount applicable to it!)

 

1. Click on the line item in the check to bring up the Edit Item window

2. Click 'Add' next to discount

3. Choose Discount from list

4. enter any notes (Optional)

5. Click OK

- You will now see the discount applied to the item, and the amount discounted!

 

 

 

 

 


 

How to Apply a Discount to an Entire Check

// In the Point of Sale, build check as needed.

 

1. At the bottom of the check, click on the Discount field

2. In the window click the 'Add Discount' button.

3. Filter for the discount you'd like to apply

4. Select discount

5. Add notes (Optional)

6. SAVE!

 

 

 

 

 

// You will now see the discount applied below to the entire check. Pay when ready!

 

 

Discount will also display on each item that it has been applied to in the check. (V 22.2)
