How to Adjust Hourly Rate for Employees
Adjusting Hourly Wages
In your /sp_admin portal, click on the buttons in the order shown in this image, or follow the written steps below.
Step 1: Creating Employees
- If you don't already have your employees added as users, you can do so by following the steps in the following article:

Step 2: Navigate to the HR tab
- In your /sp_admin portal, click on the tab labeled 'HR'.
Step 3: Open the 'Users' table
- At the far left of the available options, click 'Users'.
Step 4: Select the employee you wish to edit
- In the table of all your employees, find the employee whose hourly rate you wish to edit, and at the far right of that row click on their assigned role(s).
Step 5: Click 'Edit'
- In the popup window that appears, click the pencil icon to begin editing the employee's information.
Step 6: Enter the Hourly Rate
- Under the column 'Rate', enter the number you wish to set that employee's hourly rate at. For example, if you wish to set the employee's rate at $15/hr, you would enter 15.00
NOTE: Enter in the wage without any currency symbols. The format should be '15.00' and not '$15.00'.
Step 7: Save your changes
- Click the floppy disk icon where the pencil icon was previously to save your changes. You can then safely close out of that pop-up window.
Step 8: You're done!
- Repeat these steps for the rest of your employees as necessary.
