Option 1: Print Gratuity Line on the Receipt
// You will have the below choices
- None - Do not Print Gratuity line
- Eventonly - Only Print on Reservation Checks
- All - Print on all checks (Regular & Reservation)
To access the Gratuity option, click on Gratuity at the bottom of the check:
You will then be presented with the Gratuity option screen where you can input the amount of Gratuity received:
Option 2: Clover Tipping
// This option can be setup per terminal, and in 2 different settings.
- Sale Request - Use the Tip suggestion feature through the Clover device
- Post Authorization - This allows 'restaurant-style' tips where your staff can add the tip after the customer's initial charge.
Option 3: Automated Gratuity (Event Checks Only!)
// Auto-calculate gratuity for events based on a set percentage (EventCheckAutoTipPercent )
- Please let Support know what % Amount you would like automatically added to each Reservation Check.
- 10% = .10
- 18% = .18
- 25% = .25
