Westhold Timing Set Up Guide

This guide will walk you through how to set up the decoder. Good news is it is extremely similar to an AMB X3 Decoder.

Key Items to note:

• Default IP is 192.168.1.49
• Default login info (or leave blank sometimes)
  • User: Admin
  • Password: PASS
• Ports used: 5100, 5403

Setup Steps:

1. Plug the decoder into the same network as the server
2. Go to 192.168.1.49
   • If the server is on a different subnet, add the subnet to the servers network adapter
3. Enter in the Credentials
4. Change the IP to an open one on the servers network. Make sure it's static and outside of the DHCP scope. 
5. Open timer controls
6. Enter the Decoders new IP
7. Protocol is Enhanced just like AMB
8. Port is 5100 
9. Reset Main Engine

Testing and troubleshooting:

• If you want to make sure the decoder is working correctly, you can create passings without using a loop. 
• Telnet into the decoder
  • Open CMD
  • Type: telnet <DecoderIP> 5100
  • You will see heartbeats just like AMB
  • Then take a transponder (we had the rechargeable ones as of writing this) and pass it over the silver section on the top, or over the top of the Decoder right near the power cable. 
  • You will see passing with the transponder
