Kiosk - Custom Prompts
Custom prompts are used to present a custom window to users before a product is added to their cart during the purchase process. Prompts can be configured to be informational only, or to require that one or more checkboxes are checked before users can continue with the purchase process. This is useful for:
Requiring users to confirm members of their party meet activity height requirements
Requiring users to confirm members of their party meet activity age requirements
Presenting informational messages, such as reminders for guests to see the front counter to pick up merchandise purchased from Kiosk
To configure custom prompts use the ‘Custom Product Prompts’ section in Admin > Self Serve Kiosk > Settings. Here are some things to know about the configuration of custom prompts:
Custom prompts are created with a checkbox field by default, however, this can be deleted if the prompt is intended to be informational only
A product can be associated to one or more custom prompts - when a product is associated to more than one custom prompt, customers will be presented with the prompts cyclically during the Kiosk purchase process
