IIS Troubleshooting - 503 Service Unavailable

  1. Log in to the Server
  2. Open IIS and expand the Server
  3. Click on Application Pools 
  4. Ensure SSK has its own Application Pool
  5. Follow these steps if it does not have its own pool
    1. Click on Application Pools on the left
    2. On the Actions Panel to the right side. Click on Add Application Pool
    3. Set name to SSK. Use .NET CLR Version V4.0.30319(Subject to change)
    4. Ensure "Start application pool immediately" has a checkbox
    5. Click on Default Pool. On the Action Panel click on View Applications
    6. Find SSK or /self-serve-kiosk and right-click on it and select Change Application Pool
    7. Go back to App Pools and Select the SSK app pool and click Advanced Settings.  
    8. Set the identity to Network Service and click OK.  
    9. Ensure SSK app is running
    10. Refresh SSK site should be working now
