How to setup Operational Alerts
How to setup Operational Alerts
Purpose
The Operational Alerts tool was built to allow you to schedule automatic email alerts that will be sent to specific people in your company at a predetermined time. These alerts are business-focused - they contain information that provides insight on how your facility is performing in a certain day. So these alerts are really meant for the business owners, partners, or maybe even some of the high level managers - they are not intended for your customers.
Value of Using Operational Alerts
Sends you automated email alerts
Doesn’t require you to run a report
Beneficial for owners, partners and other higher-ups that are a part of your facility
Keeps the right people informed on the information most important to them without being physically on-site
Provides insight into your daily operations
STEP 1
Login to your /sp_admin
Navigate to ALERTS tab
STEP 2
>>> Click on ALERT SETTINGS to change the numerical values for your alerts!

Racers Per Race - Set a High and Low number then the period of how often you want these noted.
Racers per Hour - Clarify that “period” is the interval in which the report will be sent. Ex. If it’s “2,” then the racers per race report will be run every 2 hours.
An Operational Alert will only be sent, though, if the AVERAGE of all races run was too high or too low (it is NOT per race). Really gives you a gauge of it being really slow or really busy during a certain time.
Sales Milestones are region specific in terms of dollars, euros, etc. You can only have 1 sales milestone (so you can’t be notified for hitting $1,000 and $5,000 - just one or the other etc.)
Opening and closing times - also localized so it’s relevant to your location
STEP 3
From the CREATE tab

You will not receive an email the first night you create the alert, but you will receive it the following night and so on...
