How to set up a barcode for Clubspeed POS
Step 1
Find and log into your SP_Admin portal

Go to your Products tab on your SP_Admin portal

Find the product you wish to add a barcode for and select “Setup Barcode”

Type in the Barcode number you want with a “|” character on either side of the number

Here we see the barcode formatted correctly. Next we select “Add” to generate it on the item.

Select “Generate Barcode” at the top.
Step 6
Here we will need to enter in the product Description and Product price.

Finding these on the previous page we can just copy and paste these items using Item Name and Level 1 Price.

When the information is in the correct places, hit “Generate” to create the barcode to the right.
*I find setting it to 300 width makes it easier to scan.

Right-click the freshly created barcode and click on “Save image as…”.
Step 9
Save this to the location of wherever you want this image to be located*.
*The best way to deal with these is to create a new folder to place these in (i.e. Product Barcodes) and remember the location they were saved. It is also best to name the image itself something related to the product to make it easier to remember what product each barcode is associated with.
Step 10
Locate this image and either print it out as is or place it on a word document and print it out so that it can be used with the system.
TESTING
To test this, log into a freshly started RDP session. (If the session was already opened, hit MENU to the left and scroll down on the new bar and hit EXIT, and log back into it.) Once logged into the session, go to Point of Sale and scan the barcode and it should appear on the check to the right after scanning.
