Garage Setup
ABOUT: Garage Setup
This article is your first step to setting up your Garage Maintenance system.
You can access this section directly from the Garage Terminal by clicking on the Gears Icon (Top-Right), or from the /sp_admin via the Inventory tab, and selecting Garage Inventory.
Step 1: Add Kart Parts & Maintenance
Select “Parts Table Maintenance”
Click 'Add Part' (Top -Right)
Category - The section you want to organize the Part or Maintenance under.
Make sure the spelling/capitalization is exactly the same every time you enter the category name, or it will create a new category!
Item # - From Vendor's P.O.
Description - Name of Item or Maintenance (EX: Tire OR Oil Change)
PCS per set - How many pieces of the part come in a set (EX: Tires come in a set of 4)
Cost - What does this part cost you from your vendor
Warning Point = Lowest amount you'd like in inventory. This will send you a warning report to order more!
Maximum On Hand - Max amount of inventory to have in stock. The Inventory report will cap the auto-refill at this amount.
Warn After # Hours - If you want a Part or Maintenance to expire after a specific amount of time.
EXAMPLE: Oil change needs to be performed every 50 hours, or Seat Belt check every 12 hours.
Save!
// NOTE: New Parts will not show in Garage Terminal until the system has had a full reset. This happens every morning at 6am local time!
Step 2: Enter Current Parts Inventory
Select “Physical Count Data Entry”
Physical Count on MDY - Enter current inventory count, as of today’s date.
If you are receiving additional inventory, this would be the total number of parts as a whole. (Current Inventory + New Inventory)
When entering in the inventory amounts for Maintenance, it is easiest to enter in 1 Million so you won't need to update it often as it is not a tangible item. (IE: Oil Changes, Seat Belt checks, etc.)
Save!
// Search by: description, category or item #.
// NOTE: If your system does not have inventory entered, or has reached zero parts, it will not allow you to proceed!
