Customer Off-boarding (server wiping)

The following are necessary steps/procedures to decommission a Clubspeed server. This is more of a checklist and if you have additional questions or require clarification, please notify management. 



  1. Double Check location name and license name. Be sure you are on the right server!
  2. Backup Database
  3. Stop all firedamon processes and delete them
  4. Delete From IIS, Default Web Site and FTP site. Stop IIS first.
  5. Delete tasks from task manager
  6. Stop sql
  7. Delete all Clubspeed related folder except Clubspeed. (clubspeedapps, clubspeedinstaller, FTPautobackup, Install, InstallFiles, SQLbackup, all zipped files as well)
  8. In Clubspeed folder. Delete all files except CustomerPictures, CustomerSignatures, CustomerSignatures2, CustomerWaivers, CustomerWaivers2, and PaymentSignatures.
  9. Create a shortcut of Clubspeed and place a shortcut on the desktop of the owner profile. Let the customer know the credentials for owner and that the shortcut is there for the waiver files.
  10. Delete everything in Downloads folder.
  11. Remove Clubspeed users from Active Directory.
  12. Delete terminal users folders from C:users
  13. Delete DNS forwarders
  14. Delete all files on desktop
  15. Uninstall the following program(s): Firedamon
  16. Add notes in logmein that state it is wiped, by who, and when. Example: *wiped* shingo 12/2/19
  17. Move to wiped Servers category in Logmein.
  18. Disable license in colo portal
  19. Let customer and accounting know that it is complete
