Paid By Customer Credit Transaction

// From the customer's profile, you can either add a Credit limit, or keep track of personal account balances.

  • Balance - Essentially this is a Gift Card balance. Instead of assigning a monetary value to a physical card, you assign it directly to the customer's profile!
  • Credit Limit - Exactly what is sounds like, you are extending the customer credit with the understanding that they will be paying these invoices back at a designated time. Click in the grey box to enter the amount you wish to give.

// Then, from the POS, you can use the "Pay by Customer Credit" option. At this time, the system will pull from the Credit Limit.

  • In order to pull from the Balance, select the Gift Card payment option.

// From the POS, or the Customer Credit Report in the /sp_admin, you can mark the invoice as paid once the customer as settled their balance. (this is completed externally from CS)

If you view the report form the /p_admin, and balance denoted with a '-' in front of the total is the amount of money the customer owes you to settle their credit.

Click on the Balance (-€10.00 in this example) to view all invoices due. Once paid, click on the Pay Now link to mark as completed!

Once the invoice has been marked as paid, the Pay column will update to which user marked it as paid, and the date stamp. This will then set the credit limit back to its original amount.
