Barcode Scanner Setup
Plug the scanner into the computer via the USB connection.
Use the Scanner Settings sheet and scan the barcodes on it from the top to the bottom.
You can add barcodes into the admin portal in the products tab.
Then you can bring the scanner into any of the POS or WYSE Terminals and start scanning barcodes.

The Location will bring up the products from sp_admin and click the 'setup barcode' link.
they will scan the barcode and sp_admin will show the code.

Item number will be the same in both tables, with the addition of the barcode scanned from sp_admin.
Keyboard Emulation Issue Resolved:
So it seems that by default the keyboard emulation mode is not set to send Ascii
So why it works for the US keyboard I dont know but anyway 90 percent luck and 10 percent flicking through the manual and trying a few things I found the enable keyboard emulation
Now it works regardless of what keyboard I have setup UK or US still gives me the pipe symbol
