Alcohol Products
A lot of facilities are now selling adult beverages to their guest via Bar & Restaurant, and not all of them want their guests to be able to get into an activity after consuming a beverage. For safety reasons, of course!
By turning on the Alcohol Action Setup feature, your staff will be required to assign the guests account to each alcoholic beverage they purchase. This will mark their account as to not allow them to be added to any future activities. If they are already assigned into an activity, they are good to go, but any activities a staff member tries to add them to after purchasing a cocktails will be blocked.
NOTE: This setting is limited to a single beverage!
How to setup Alcohol Items for your Bar
/// 1 Turn On Alcohol Assignment
Go to Sp_Admin -> Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Alcohol Action Setup

Flip the alcohol action radio button to the ON position

Click Save Changes

When this setting is turned on it will not allow a customer to be added into an activity/heat if they purchased an alcoholic beverage.

If the customer is already assigned to an activity/heat, they are fine. It only applies if they are attempting to be added to additional Activity/Heats.

Navigate to Sp_Admin > Products Tab

There is now a *Contains Alcohol* field on the products, seen below.

All alcoholic products can now be checked off as containing alcoholic.

Add item to check as usual, it will then prompt you for the customer’s name.

Now, if you view the customer’s profile, you will see that new check box at the bottom of the profile.

When trying to add a customer to an activity/heat, you will be prompted with the following warning if a customer has purchased an alcohol containing product.
