This article will show how to use the new Bar Tab Feature in 21.3. You now have the option to save items onto a tab to pay out after your guests have finished having fun!

- Step 1: Contact Support to ensure you are on the latest version of Clubspeed to utilize this feature
- Step 2: Instead of clicking "Pay" you can now choose the Bar Tab Button in the top right corner
- Step 3: Access Tabs from previous checks
- Step 4: Close Out a Tab
Step 1: Contact Support to ensure you are on the latest version of Clubspeed to utilize this feature
// This feature works with both CardConnect or Clover
- Default pre-authorization amount is $100, please alert our Support Team if you would like to change this amount.
- This feature can be used on all terminals or terminals that you specify.
Step 2: Instead of clicking "Pay" you can now choose the Bar Tab Button in the top right corner
// This option will prompt you to enter in their credit card information & "Account Name" which will be the name of your guest
Step 3: Access Tabs from previous checks
// The same small beverage button can be used to access existing tabs, clicking the name from the list will pull up the check.
// You will then observe a list of existing tabs
// From here you will see a smaller version of the same icon in the check panel that indicates a tab is already associated with this check as seen below.
Step 4: Close Out a Tab
// Click the small icon next to the check number to close an existing tab
- This same button can be pressed to close out a tab
- The amount must be paid in full to close out the tab
Note: Bar tabs are enabled on a per-terminal basis, so make sure to be logged in to a terminal where this feature is enabled to manage existing bar tabs.
