Activity Credits Explained

Why would you want to use Credits in your business model

Now would be a good time to cover the credit system. It’s important to remember that you don’t have to use the credit system. However, we highly recommend that you do because of the added functionality and security that it offers.

 

Credits are the currency we use for getting into an activity. Same concept as playing games at an arcade. If you don't have the tokens to put into the machine, you can't play!

 

These credits are attached in the POS module and will stay with the user’s account until that guest is put in a credit required activity and the credits are deducted automatically when they are assigned. All unused credits will stay on the customer’s profile until they are used. They will never expire! (expiring credits coming early 2020)

 

There is some flexibility with using credits. For example, if you wanted to run a promotion where your tenth activity is free you can sell your customers 11 credits each time they buy a race, so that on the tenth time they purchase an activity they are automagically getting a free session.

 

Credits can be sold in bulk, and Specialized for each activity!



One of the major benefits of using the Credit system is security! A guest cannot be added to an activity unless he or she has enough credits in his or her account to gain access. As soon as your guest is put in a 100-credit race, his account will be debited 100 credits and he will now have 100 remaining of the 200 he bought. This feature stops employees from putting friends and family into Activities for free or prevents a cashier from accidentally putting someone in an Activity that hasn’t paid yet, and so on.
