SSL Cert Update/Replacement For 2008r2 & 2012r2
- Download the latest certificate to the server.
- Click Start, mouse-over Administrative Tools, and then click Internet Services Manager.
- In the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager window, select your server.
- Scroll to the bottom, and then double-click Server Certificates.
- From the Actions panel on the right, click Import...
- Click ...., To locate your extracted file.
- Select the cert in the file then click Open.
- Enter in the encryption password: 20nvadwiqf78w
- 2012r2 NOTE: Select "WEB HOSTING" as the Certificate Store.
- Click + beside Sites, select the site (Default Web Sites) to secure with the SSL certificate.
- In the Actions panel on the right, click Bindings....
- Select HTTPS 443
- Click Edit...
- Select the new cert in the drop down
- Close Binding
- Close the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager window. Your SSL certificate installation is complete.
Visit your website at https://Licensename.clubspeedtiming.com/sp_admin or https://licensename.clubspeed.com/sp_admin depending on your certificate/domain you are using to verify the installation. If you are using Firefox, click the green lock icon to the left of the URL > Click the ">" next to Secure Connection row > Click "More Information" to see information about the cert. In the Expires On section you should see October 31, 2020.
