SMTP Relay Setup: Office 365

Get the Public IP of the Clubspeed Controller. You can request this from Clubspeed.


Go to your Microsoft Admin Center:

Admin.microsoft.com


Navigate the following options:

Admin Centers on the left > Exchange >Mail Flow > Connectors > Click the Plus Icon




From: Your organization's email server

To: Office365




Click "Next" at the bottom


Name the connector:

Name it SMTP Relay 

Uncheck "Retain internal Exchange email headers"



Click "Next" at the bottom


Select the second radio button, click the "Plus" icon and add the server's IP address provided from Clubspeed in the next window:



Click "OK", verify the IP address is now in the box below and then click the "Next" option at the bottom.


Choose next, and then save.


When it is completed, click "OK" and click on "Protection" on the left column

Click "Connectin Filter" at the top

Double-click on Default



Click connection filtering

Click the "Plus Icon" above the Allowed IP address and re-enter the server's IP address that was previously provided



Click "OK", verify it is now in the list, and click "Save".


Return to the Microsoft Admin Center:

Admin.microsoft.com 


Expand the settings section > Click on Domains


Double-click your default domain and copy the top "Points to address or value" that is a MX type for your domain. Most likely ends in "outlook.com" 



Save this and forward it to Clubspeed Support.

We will implement the values to the Clubspeed Controller and you should be all set afterward!
