Signature Pad Configuration
In order for a signature pad to work it has to have the following settings:
Serial Port - COM 1
Baud Rate - 115200
Make sure config file is added to each pos. File name is Sigplus
Can find the config file from install files.
add file to c:\users\pos1\windows\place config here
If they are on a newer version of Club Speed (15.6.1+) make sure Signature Processor setting in the Control Panel (sql > Clubspeedv8) is set to topaz.
If they are using a serial to USB converter, that driver has to be installed as well.
- Check the settings for the Serial to USB converter driver to see if there are options to set the port to COM 1 and the Baud Rate and make sure they match.
