eGift Cards: Custom Redirect Page

By default, your guests will land on the below page when they complete a Gift Card Transaction through your webshop.
You can now link to your very own custom landing page that you can sync with your Tracking/Analytics tools.
In further helping you gauge your marketing spend and to find out what’s working, and more importantly, what’s not, the Custom URL Redirect functionality will allow you to track your marketing flow and understand which customers are converting to paying customers and which are not. This tool will give you the insight you need to understand where to focus your marketing efforts and better connect with your guests.

FLOW OVERVIEW
- You’ll start tracking customers on your website or from your emails sent via your CRM like Hubspot, Pipedrive, SalesForce, etc.
- Your guest receives your email or clicks on a website link directing them to your eGiftcard Portal.
- Your guest is then taken to your eGiftcard Portal and purchases an eGiftcard.
- At the end of the sale, they are redirected to a custom landing page with your UTM or tracking widgets on it so you can see all the customers that have completed the loop.
- When they hit that Redirect Page: this is the Notification of the sale being completed!
Step 1: Create Your CUSTOM Thank You Page
// Create your custom Thank you landing page on your website
- Make sure to have your Tracking info connected to this page so you can see when the customer arrives at this page!
Step 2: Plugin Link
// Now that you have your custom landing page created, we want to link it to CS!
- You can do this yourself, or send the link over to Support and we will plug it in for you.
- /sp_admin > Settings > Control Panel
- MainEngine > ThankYouPageURL
- Enter URL into this field
- SAVE!
- This will require a MainEngine restart! You can wait until tomorrow to test or reach out to support and they can manually restart the system for you.
Step 3: TEST
// Sell yourself a gift card, and check your reporting
- Make sure you are presented with your Custom Thank You landing page!
- TIP: Set the Gift Card to the Price of $0.10 instead of paying full price.
