Camera Setup For POS
Schemes:
Receipt printers: *.*.*.26/ .27/ .28
Cameras: *.*.*.76/ .77/ .78
Go To:
1) SQL > Databases> clubspeedv8
2) Control Panel(Edit top 1000 lines) > scroll to POS #(the POS you want to change)
3) Then go to "CameraIPAddress" and see the current "SettingValue"
a) Check the other POS terminals to make sure the number isn't being shared.
i) If so, select the next one in line.
b) If no value > check the other POS #s to find the next IP address in line
4) Ensure the "CameraUsername" = admin and CameraPassword = is empty
5) Open a Web Browser and enter the IP address for the camera the customer has given you into the URL
a)You will be prompted for a username and Password > enter admin / (keep empty) > enter
b)Click the Set up button > Network Setup (location may differ from camera to camera)
i)Ensure Static IP is selected > enter the ip that was listed in SQL (ex: 192.168.10.78)
c)Click Save settings
d) Put the new IP address for the camera in the URL line and the set up screen should populate
i)This lets you know the change took.
6) Go to SQL:
a)Control Panel (Edit top 1000 lines) [if not open]
b)Scroll to the desired POS terminal > CameraIPAddress - enter the new camera IP address
i)Click "execute!" to save
7)Make sure no races are active -- restart Main in FireDaemon for changes to take effect.
8)If the POS is going, you will need to log of and log it back on for them to see the changes.
**If the camera stops working after moving from 2003 to 2008 server copy the attached xplug.ocx and register via cmd. (place file in SysWOW64 folder then run the following CMD " regsvr32 c:\windows\syswow64\xplug.ocx "
