Adding Zone File To GoDaddy
Adding Track's Public IP to GoDaddy
- First, it would be safe to ensure that the track has a static public IP going to the track
- Next, go to GoDaddy and login with ClubSpeed's credentials
- If you don't have the credentials, confer with Wes or Shingo
- Go to Manage the Domains
- Ensure to select ClubSpeedTiming.com as the domain to manage
- Click on the DNS Zone File tab near the middle
- On this tab, is where you can Add or Edit existing Domain entries
- Click the Edit link above the list of domains
- A new tab should come up, you can then either:
- Click Add to create a new domain entry
- Find an existing entry and click the Pencil (edit) next to the name or IP that needs to be modified
- Once the modifications have been made, click on Save Zone File
- NOTE: Any changes can take an upwards of 24-48 hours to take effect, though they usually take effect within an hour or two after being completed.
